"Is That a Dog???"

Yes, I was asked this question over the weekend. Please be aware that I was at Dog Beach in OB surrounded by many other dogs with my creature on a leash. This question was neither surprising nor insulting in the least bit. In fact, it has been asked before in various forms.

Toby provides me a lot of humor, fun and companionship. He also attracts people like you would not believe. "What breed is that?" "That puppy is going to be big!" "He looks like a little bear!"

In the picture: the little dog with the ball in its mouth, just entering the photo, cracked me up. Action-wise, he was the opposite of Toby's slow, plodding movements; sniffing the washed up seaweed, leaving paw prints in the sand. This post is for T-Bone's fans.
